More than two years ago, Ardeola, the SEO/BirdLife scientific journal, was launched on the scientific website BioOne (www.bioone.org), a virtual library hosting over 10 million visitors per year, that houses publications at the forefront of Biological Sciences.
Now, we take another step forward: a new subscription option. In addition to the classic print edition already we have a digital edition available on www.ardeola.org where with personalized access (user and password) every subscriber may access the journal to consult and download PDF files of each issue.

Why Ardeola ‘on line’?

We avoid paper waste and oil derivatives from printing and mail transport. Thus weconsiderably reduce the consumption of natural resources for its production and distribution. All this is in line with the commitment of SEO/BirdLife to reduce our carbon footprint, minimize the cost of raw materials and improve energy efficiency within the organization. SEO/BirdLife is the first Spanish environmental NGO to achieve the certification of AENOR for its Environmental Management System.

What does it offer to the subscriber?

A modern tool that allows quick access to the journal from any Internet-connected device (tablet, i-phone and PC). This means being able to consult the journal at any time and place, as well as make content searches by words or author. Moreover, the format also allows savings of physical space and gices the subscriber access to all volumes of Ardeola from 2011 until the last year of publication.

How to suscribe?

Access from www.ardeola.org. On the link “User access” the subscription form complete choosing the preferred version: on line, printed or mixed. The (individual or institutional) subscriber will receive an email with a password to gain access to the publication.
